Sarah Saucedo is an analyst at VS Strategies providing research and data support across a wide variety of cannabis policy and client matters.

 

Sarah is based in the Phoenix metro area and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in sociology and social welfare. She is passionate about ending the war on drugs, and her work in drug policy reform is rooted in harm reduction, racial justice, and human rights.

Sarah served on the board of directors for Repair Now, a civil rights restoration advocacy group, and Shot in the Dark, a Phoenix syringe access program. As a leader of the local chapter of Students for Sensible Drug Policy (SSDP), she participated in successful initiatives to pass statewide overdose prevention measures and promote college campus medical amnesty policies. She was also a member of the coalition campaign in support of Proposition 205, the 2016 ballot initiative to legalize cannabis for adult use in Arizona.
